Misha has an
extensive performance history on both piano and organ. He was named
"Outstanding Pianist" at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.
He held staff accompanist positions at Blair School of Music, Vanderbilt
University, Washington State University and Belmont University.
Misha was a staff organist at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, Orange,
NJ, St Francisc de Sales, Lodi, NJ and St Augustine Church and Second
Presbyterian Church, Nashville, TN. He is the author of the best
selling "Jazz Piano Chords," Mel Bay Publications. He
was a pianist with WSU Big Band, Belmont Big Band and Mooseknows
Jazz Trio. Misha's performance experience includes private piano
entertainment at such establishments as Nat Sherman on Fifth Avenue
in New York City. Mr. Stefanuk is also the prize winner of "Stereotypes
and Nations" composition competition in Krakow, Poland, "Concerto
Aria" at Belmont University, and numerous other scholarships
and awards.
